Visiting fellows normally stay with us for one or two terms. Potential candidates should contact research-support@qeh.ox.ac.uk with a brief description of their work, the reason for wanting to visit IMI, and the name of an IMI researcher to act as your 'link person'.

If your application is of interest to the team, we will ask you to submit a more detailed application, including your curriculum vitae and a 500-word research proposal.

Your application will be submitted to the Oxford Department of International Development’s Affiliations Committee for a final decision. There is a rolling application process with three deadlines each year.

Visiting Fellowship applications are normally accepted only from academic visitors (people affiliated with universities or comparable research institutions); however, applications from non-academics will be accepted in exceptional cases if the Department of International Development judges that a visit would contribute directly or indirectly to its academic work.

Further information can be obtained by emailing research-support@qeh.ox.ac.uk
