Why Do People Migrate? on Saturday 25 June

IMI researcher Marieke van Houte will team up with physical theatre company Justice in Motion to present a live performance and discussion to explore motivations behind migration.

Based on a live experiment on Broad Street (which will take place earlier on Saturday 25 June), the discussion at 14:30 in the Court Room of Oxford Town Hall will explore the personal characteristics one needs to have to become a migrant, and highlights the latest research on migrations.

For more info on the live experiment, see the CONTAINED booth at the Street Science Fair.

The University of Oxford is principal sponsor of the Oxfordshire Science Festival, which aims to showcase science in a broad sense, using a variety of approaches to create links across disciplines, often blending science and arts.
