In this project launch seminar, Hein de Haas will give an overview of current knowledge on the nature and drivers of global migration and present the aims and methodologies of the DEMIG project. There will be a drinks reception in the Hall following the seminar.

DEMIG: The Determinants of International Migration: A theoretical and empirical assessment of policy, origin, and destination effects’ is a five-year project (2010-2014) core-funded by the European Research Council (ERC) through a Starting Grant awarded to Hein de Haas (ERC Grant Agreement 240940).
