Three papers from the second workshop in the IMI series of Social Theory and Migration workshops are now available to read

In April 2012, IMI organised a workshop at the University of Pisa entitled: 'What post-positivism, critical realism and structuration can offer to migration studies'.

This was the second workshop in the IMI Social Theory and Migration workshop series.

We have now published three of the papers in our IMI Working Papers series:

WP-62-2012: 'Causality, contextual frames and international migration:combining strong structuration theory, critical realism and textual analysis', Rob Stones

WP-61-2012: 'Structuration, practice theory, ethnography and migration: bringing it all together', Karen O'Reilly

WP-60-2012: 'Relaunching migration systems', Oliver Bakewell
