International migration has become one of the most important issues of the twenty-first century. Its range and impact are global and its consequences are profound for sending, transit and receiving countries. Key themes in this series will include the processes and impact of migration, the formation and characteristics of diasporas and the role of states in fostering political integration and citizenship. Our books will be theoretically innovative, comparative and multi-disciplinary, bringing to students and other scholars the most illuminating research in the field.
