Edo Mahendra

Edo Mahendra is a DPhil candidate at the Department of International Development, University of Oxford. His doctoral thesis examines the role of social and trade policies as migration determinants. He was involved as a doctoral research student in the Determinants of International Migration (DEMIG) research project at the International Migration Institute (IMI). He joined the United Nations as a Young Professional and his current position is Associate Economic Affairs Officer at the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA). His main research interest is the migration-development nexus. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen and University of Indonesia, respectively.
