The French Development Agency (AFD), the World Bank, the Center for Global Development (CGD) and the International Migration Institute are jointly organising the Seventh International Conference on 'Migration and Development', with the generous support of the Oxford Martin School.

The conference is devoted to investigating ways in which international migration affects economic and social changes in developing countries. Possible topics include the effects of migration on poverty, inequality, and human capital formation in developing countries, diaspora externalities, remittances, brain drain, migration and institutional/technological change.
