DEMIG VISA is a new database that tracks annual bilateral travel visa requirements for 237 nationalities in 214 countries over the 1973–2013 period. DEMIG aimed at generating new theoretical and empirical insights into the way states and policies shape migration processes in their interaction with other migration determinants.
